Developed the world’s first women’s microfinance community initiative at Citibank—launched in India to expand access to credit and economic opportunity.

Bridging the digital divide in Venezuela.

Designed and implemented a computer literacy program that created employment pathways for educated but unemployed women in underserved communities.

I shared the story of Citibank’s microfinance launch in Mumbai — an initiative I had led, which successfully expanded access to capital for underserved communities in India.

This photo was taken at a fundraiser following President Clinton’s humanitarian visit to India in 2001, after the Latur and Gujarat earthquakes. I led the operations for his visit, coordinating his on-ground efforts to support disaster relief and community engagement — work that ultimately contributed to the founding of the American India Foundation (AIF).
